What should we provide?
A small work area, table, and a chair. Everything else will be brought by the artist.
How long does each face take to be painted?
Faces or Cheek Art take 1-8 minutes, depending on complexity. A very simple design can be painted on a toddler in a minute. Temporary Tattoos take only a minute or two. Glitter or Mica Tattoos take 2-5 minutes each.

What designs can you do?
Hundreds. Children can choose from many samples in the IDEA BOOK or CHART or just request their favorite face. Specialized designs can be offered for theme parties and events at no extra charge.

What type of paint is used? (And will it come off?)
The Face Paints used are non-toxic, FDA compliant, and water-based -- specially formulated for use on children´s skin. Designs can be removed with soap and water. Temporary Tattoos (ink type) can last more than 3 days or be washed off right away (samples below). Glitter & Mica Tattoos utilize special skin safe adhesive and cosmetic glitter and powders. They last 3-14 days and can be removed with alcohol or baby (or similar) oil.
What are TEMPORARY TATTOOS (ink type)?
What are GLITTER or MICA TATTOOS?
Ink type Temporary Tattoos are designs applied within a stencil using a long-lasting (water-based) ink (samples above). They will last 3 days or longer if not subjected to soaps, lotions, rubbing, etc. Some designs can be applied on older children or adults using alcohol-based ink.
Awesome Glitter Tattoos (for older kids and adults) have special cosmetic glitter affixed to the tattoo using a skin-safe adhesive. They are waterproof and can last 4 days or longer with care (photos below). Mica Tattoos have a special powder affixed to the adhesive and can resemble a real tattoo (very popular with boys). Mica Tats are waterproof and can last a week or longer with care. Both tattoo types can be removed with alcohol or by rubbing with baby (or similar) oil.

How far will you travel?
Are you experienced?
Philadelphia and its suburbs. The following counties are served in Pennsylvania: Montgomery County, Bucks County, Delaware County, Chester County, & Philadelphia. Ask about other areas.
Years of experience at parties, corporate & community events; 5 years with Faith & Fantasy Clowns of Delaware Valley; 2 years resident face paint artist at Cedars Up-Country Market. I have Pennsylvania clearances for working with children. Kids are comfortable with me -- during the week I bring a VIRTUAL WHALE WATCH program to elementary and preschools.
Rates:
$100 for the 1st hour, $40 for each additional half-hour.
(Plan to book an hour for every 12 children to be painted.
Don't forget to include any siblings that will
be at the party in your total head count.)
